Wideband lambda Bosch 6 wire not listed ?

Post by Leemk1 »

Hi I'm using the aem wideband set up which has a 6 wire Bosch ls4.2 I think , I can only see setting for Bosch 4 way on the ecu settings is there another that uses the same parameters ?

The LSU sensor requires a controller. Each controller will have a different 0-5v analogue output. You need to find out what this scaling is, and then marry the two together.

Like Steve says, you need to find (or set yourself) the 0-5v calibration of the control gear (aem) you are using. I use the Inovate and you can expand the area you are interested in if you wish.

Had a look in the aem instructions tonight there is a more detailed scaling for example 20+ figures to enter and on my dta screen I can only enter 20 values , is there a way of making the table hold a longer list of values ?

If you imagine plotting the numbers on a graph you will find for a wide band they are typically a straight line, a standard narrow band they are not. just skip some of the numbers and fill in the boxes you have.

You only need two values.

0v and 5v, then interpolate between them. Or whatever the low/high voltages are at either end of the AEM scaling.

Here are AEM's values.

I just don't get how to input them into the table. Please explain.

I can go add in 20 values from the table. Arnt I going to miss some info?

Thanks in advance.

That's neat, I didn't realise you could do that. You have to do it for both columns of course.

It's annoying though that you can only do one row or column at a time.

Would be better to be able to do multiple rows ( when on main tables ). Obviously on the above tables it doesnt matter.

Just looked at the old DTAWin, feature isnt offered on it. Swin only.
