I'm currently trying to get boost by MPH working on my DTA s80 pro. I'm having an issue with the Base turbo pwm map. The cells at 0% throttle for 500-3000 rpm are filled with 250%, 300%, 400% ...700%. Every time I change these cells to 0 and restart the s80, the cells repopulate with the same original percentages. My max pwm is set to 100%. I was trying to get this working before playing with the PID loop.
Not sure if anyone has had a similar problem, I'd like to get boost by mph working and I don't want my solenoid maxed out while I'm off throttle at those RPMs.
Thanks for any help.

Re: turbo base pwm map issues
How can you have 700% ?
Post a picture of what you're referring to as that doesnt make sense.
And do you even have stable boost control using the base PWM map ?

Re: turbo base pwm map issues
The map always defaults to this after I restart the box, and open it back up.

You did F4 to save before closing it right (sorry to point out the obvious)

Re: turbo base pwm map issues
i use the turbo control for something else entirely different but i have never found this problem, im using latest firmware no idea why you cant update it, have you tried turning it all off and on again?
Re: turbo base pwm map issues
Sorry about the picture, it says checksum incorrect, bad programmation (sp?) Com: timeout or loss of data. I'm going to try using a different usb to serial converter.
Firmware 61, hardware 3 I believe.

Re: turbo base pwm map issues
Ive been lucky with my USB-serial.
But it seems most are no end of trouble. And if it goes tits up when flashing, is there a risk of major damage ?

Re: turbo base pwm map issues
Hey guys, thanks for all the help. Turns out it was my usb to serial converter, wired the dta directly up to my desktop 9 pin serial connection and the flash went through fine (heard the fuel pump kick on when I cycled it, but haven't had time to hook up dtaswin).
