Is the crank sensor set as a hall type in the software? perhaps it has changed somehow?
I've just downloaded the software and having a play.

Well, finally some good news! Thanks to the intervention of Alex, who carried out a 'TeamViewer' rework of my ecu, I now have a crank sensor that synchs instantly. The not so good news is that the car is still reluctant to start, but that appears to be a fuelling issue.

To say I'm relieved that the crank sensor is OK is an understatement. Now to tackle the fuelling!

As always with fueling and especially cold starts....

Start with no fuel, and add. Never start with lots of fuel, as you'll likely flood it causing it to fail to start for that reason.

So what was the problem with the syncing?

Gap Tooth Factor was wrong. Obviously marginal hence randomly syncing and starting. Also explains why it looked like a crank sensor issue
