I need to step up voltage from 12v to 16v to the injectors
Is a 16v 10a 180w enough for 12 injectors 1.6 omhs triggered through peak and hold injector drivers

You should not run the injectors at 16v as the ECU drives them directly.
You MAY be able to use a solid state relay to do this, but you would need one for each ECU output. You would also need a very good quality, very fast switching relay.

Ohms law says 16 v /1.6 Ohms = 10 Amps per injector.
If you have two injectors per output (as you must with 12 injectors) your resistance drops to 0.8 Ohms, which means they will draw 20 Amps.

I think you will have a lot of problems doing this.

You can only do it directly with the amplified coils, as the driving circuitry is completely separate to the ECU.

So it is impossible using dta with 16v injectors ?
Even if I driving through a injector driver?

If the ECU has a 12v feed, and the injector a 16v feed, you will have a 4v offset which will be enough to keep the injector open.
You can't run 16v to the ECU reliably, as you've found out. It was never designed with that in mind.

So I can’t even put a step down on ecu only...

Surely a low impedance driver box, effectively isolates the injector load from the ecu ?

or does it only intercept the trigger wiring ?

I doubt any solid state relay would ever work, but perhaps what some use for ignition drivers ?

I didn't know these existed. As long as they're able to cope with 16v, then yes.

What about 14v, would harm ECU ?

If everything else on the car is happy at 16v...it would probably be easier to run it all at 16v, and then find a solution for reducing the voltage to the engine ecu.

Which should be pretty easy, as the ecu itself would require very little power/current ?
