Hi all
So my ECUs serial connector losed one of its small tighening nuts - one of the two that rs cable fastenings go for. I might do with just one but thing is that -eh- bolts head is just visible and flush with encasing. I really like to adress that so hence the question:
What i need to know to open, fix serial port fastening and put it back to gether with success? Thought that i'll ask before...
My fear is that the bolt inside works its way to fully loose and causes havoc inside.
Opening the ECU unit
Re: Opening the ECU unit
I would say, loosen the screws and see... But be careful with the sealing gasket.
The only thing; if it's still under warranty, I wouldn't do it, ship it back.

There is no bolt on the inside. Just refit a standard bolt to the outside and you'll be fine.tzei wrote:My fear is that the bolt inside works its way to fully loose and causes havoc inside.
Don't take it apart, you'll break the seals on the case, and the ones on the screws.
