turbo base pwm map issues

So it looks like a dodgy USB-serial can actually effect the maps as they are loaded or saved in the ecu ?

And of course cause major problems when flashing. That really isnt good.

Just wanted to follow up with this. I reflashed to v63 using a straight serial connection, and got the dta approved serial to usb converter / drivers. The base pwm map issue is resolved and appears to be working properly. I don't seem to be having any com issues.
