Have used the DTA Pro8 on Rover engine, with siamese twin plenum and am very happy with it. Looking for another one if anyone has one for sale.
This system uses a delay on the second throttle else it does not run as smoothly.

I machined the 36-1 trigger wheel into the SD1 flywheel then used it with the standard Serpentine Range Rover sensor.
Soooo.. easy to donut! see my video on Youtube

The issue with the throttles is quite simple. You have far more throttle than you would ever need on a Rover engine. SO if both open together, it's actually like going WOT almost all the time it lets that much air in.
No different that people fitting excessively oversized throttles to their cars.
Looks like a neat job though.
It is worth going to the S80 though if your budget allows. They're just much nicer to work with than the P8. Especially the wiring connectors lol

Thanks for the reply.
I'm using a spring loaded dash pot the allows the primary to open a third then the secondary to open at a faster rate so they are both fully open together.
Probably more trouble than it was worth, but I enjoyed designing it.
Will look at the S80 as an option. Unless a cheap 8 Pro comes up.
