Innovate LM-2 wiring

Post by gigford »

Cannot figure out the wiring between the Innovate LM-2 to S60, please help.

If i connect LM-2 Analog Out 1 + (Lime green) to Pin 19 and Ana Out 1 - (Yellow) to Pin 33 then AFR 22,39 is displayed at Real Time Info, engine not running.
If i swap the wires it shows AFR 7,35.
If no wire connected to Pin 33, does not make any difference in readings.

If i start the engine the needle on virtual AFR gauge bouncing all over the place,..

What am I doing wrong?

Does your engine idle smoothly?
If your map is all over the pace, the AFR will be as well.
Mine is showing 22 on KOEO, and are a little bit up and down on idle wich I believe is normal, but my map needs fine tuning on idle aswell.

Wiring sounds correct.
Have you set the lambda input controller to Innovate?

If so, open Real Time Mapping, and monitor your input voltage there.

The car has not been mapped at mid-high rpms yet, have not taken out to test drive. Only set the fuel/iginition up to 1500rpm using LM-2 controller.
At idle the engine runs smoothly cold or hot, so i can say it's stable.
The LM-2 displays fairly constant AFRs at idle, so no bouncing as in Real TIme Info.
Even with the engine off and i do a calibration so the LM-2 shows 20.9 as it should the DTA shows the max AFR of 22,39.

Yes, I choose the Lambda controller input to Innovate at first time.

Can i measure the input voltage between the two wires using a multimeter?

A plan to make a video and upload here.

you should be able to connect your pc to the innovate also to read directly if you think something is wrong, you may need 2 pc's to look at the dta also.
