I think Its a turbosmart gate, currently its 30mm and he's hoping to upgrade to a 45mm. This will mean a new flange and stub pipe. I dont know what the turbo is except its a garrett, looks like V-band attachment to the manifold. Its physically a lot bigger than the likes of a TD05 on a Subaru! Obviously no restrictor either.

Shouldnt be a massive job to cut the square flange off and fit a v-band.....well, other than having to remove it all from the car. 30mm is far too small though, at least the holes in the manifold etc are all larger.

But it may be easier to weld a v-band to the square flange and retain both aspects, and just re-work the discharge pipe.

Or with a bit of engineering....maybe try and enlarge the current BOV with a larger valve ? That would keep fitments and visuals correct for an older car.
