Pretty sure yes, but obviously you will still need to go through it and ensure everything has transferred correctly, and any new features are configured correctly before running the engine.

Yes.
Open DTASwin in offline mode, upload the P8 map and save it.
The only issue I've ever seen is the Transition from Cranking RPM is sometimes 2000.

Thank you for your help , one last question for now I guess I can use the same p8 loom on the s80 by getting 2 plugs fitted to match the s80.

Not the tidiest, but it served its purpose at the time and then when happy all was good sorted wiring loom properly.
