Currently the problem using it with DTA is twofold.

Firstly, you'd need adjustable voltage threshold settings to get it right.

And then you'd need the ability to ignore the cam sensor ( MAP sensor in this case ) once sync'd up in 720, because other than starting, using the map sensor for phase ID, wouldnt really be viable.
Maybe around idle at most, but certainly not at higher rpm's

I'm actually looking at other options for the Panigale engine anyway, as it required dual DBW also and space is at a premium.

Interesting that's it's more common than I thought as a trigger sync.

Yes, another way: I talked with the dell'Orto Director and said they use the flywheel speed during cranking to get the fully sync without cam sensor.
