Thats some very impressive numbers for very modest boost !! and even better for a small engine

Nice! And power to 9000rpm too!

It's like the smaller version of the turbo tipo I had :)

wrong for what though ?

If it's power you're after, baby turbos just wont cut it.

it has only 500hp at 9000rpm, his horsepower is based on rpm and not on torque...

with a better turbocharger with better compressor map you can achieve the same hp in much lower rpm cause of much more of torque...

your comment would be true if it has around 800hp then yes it couldnt do something better in mid range rpm but now the 500hp is a feasible goal with another turbocharger with its new technology...

As he's only running a lowly 1.6 bar...I'd guess he is only just getting warmed up ?

Don't forget that it is a lightweight street car that can't use larger than 205/50/15 tires.
The extra torque only problems could cause.
Thats the reason the boost stopped at 1,6 bar

the problem it not the torque itself...its the torque on 7000, so much lag

you cant say its street car for street use with so much lag...a street car for everyday use has aroun 40 kg of torgue on a range of 3500-6500rpm with red line on 7500 rpm

it allows you to run the car with one gear up without needing to downshift to by pass a car on highway...

this setup reminds me drag, street racing setup...its totaly pointless for street use...

imagine how much faster would be a lightweight car as you said with 40 kg of torgue on mid range rpm, it will kill your setup on the street in every aspect, yours is just faster on 0-400 drag usage

if you built it for street/drag racing then its fine but dont say its for street/everyday use...

Just because it is daily driven, doesnt mean it cant also be a fast car for drag racing.

There will always be compromises somewhere, but if his priority is going fast at the strip....but cannot afford a dedicated drag car, then have one that covers both drag and road.

Nobody's setup will be perfect for every application.
