There is no way to allow the RPM to go above the Hard Limit

The latest update of the T Series software will allow different RPM limits per gear. That might help.

If you have amplified coils turned on, then the current draw is reasonable.
If not, then it's damaged.

The dash just reads the value from the ECU, so get the values in the ECU working, and the dash will just work. The dash value is Gear.
