Re: connection of 2 injector outputs to 1 injector
Hello, thank you for all the answers, thoughts, recommendations. It is true, there is no need for 2 injections per revolution, one should also work. But as far as I remember the first Bosch Monomotronic had just one 1 injection per rev and later on there was an update on Monomotronic 1.2 which hat 2...

Re: connection of 2 injector outputs to 1 injector
Hello Rob, the flat 4 engine has unequal firing angles at both sides. Two cylinders at one engine side are sharing the intake port. The firing order is 1-4-3-2, so the cylinders at one side are firing direct one after the other with only 180°CA difference, then 540°CA. Even with the very mild stock ...

connection of 2 injector outputs to 1 injector
Hello, is it possible to connect 2 injector outputs of the S60 ECU to the same injector? Or will this damage the injector drivers / power stages? Why? I would like to build a single point injection unit from a single carburator with one Magneti Marelli Pico IWP069 injector inside, which injects on t...

HI Alex,
thanks for that precise answer. I have a cheap USB oscilloscope and a clamp also.
I will do so.

AEM high performance coils feasible for S60?
Hello to all, a friend of me would like to use these coils (AEM high performance coil w/o power stage, #30-2852) with the S60 ECU. https://www.aemelectronics.com/files/instructions/30-2852%20High%20Output%20Inductive%20Coil.pdf The low primary resistance of the coil must lead to a high primary curre...

cam signal position for sequential start
Hello, If I have to start with sequential injection, is there a recommendation for the cam signal pulse related to the crankshaft? The crankshaft gap will be approx. 90° BTDC. Would it be a good choice to have the cam pulse together with the crank gap in order to get good startability? BTW: Batch in...

Re: Beta Software
Hello Alex, sensor scaling allows to select a cylinder head temp sensor for aircooled engines (VW speedshop cyl head sensor). Maximum temperature is limited to 300°C. Temperature limit in fuel compensation is 200°C. Temp scaling for start fueling is limited to 120°C. In the older SW it was the same,...

Re: Ring Gear as crank signal?
Hello, If your engine is based on the engine block EA111 (Polo engine from mid/end of 80s) you could use the sealing ring carrier from the late engines which include a 60-2 trigger. A VW Hallsensor will fit into that carrier. It is plug&play. You have to remove the flywheet, thats all. This carr...

Re: CAN Communication
Hello, yes I did for the connection to DTASwin. It is much more faster than standard connection. I have found a new SYSTEC Can to USB controller here in Germany at Ebay for a really low price. The Systec CAN-software must be installed (USB driver). The China connector you have posted could word, but...

Re: Valvers Android Dash
Hello, I have had a look. Most of the offered OBD-adaptors are china clones. The original ELM327 chip cost 15 to 20 Euro, so the whole device for less than 10 Euro including shipping from China could not be true..... Obviously there is a clone chip inside. On one or two pages in the web there are so...
