Re: Motec Universal Crimper

That 706 crimper seems a very high price, for a very average looking crimper ( going by Amazon prices ) You're right, in the photos it looks a real cheap and nasty type tool, but without the benefit of cheap price. In practice, it's one of those superb little finds, that works on quite a few of the...

Re: Motec Universal Crimper

Short of the expensive specialist tools, the main one I and a number of others have had a great deal of success with is the The Hozan P-706 crimper, which has some suitable positions on it's jaws for the superseal pins. Note though, as it's a universal tool, care is needed to get the crimps formed p...

Re: Motec Universal Crimper

Very unlikely I'd have thought, looks just like a crimper for regular uninsulated terminals.

Re: T8+ Cranking Issues on Vauxhall XE 2.0 ltr

Also, are you getting any significant Voltage drop at the ecu, while cranking (with plugs in, compared to them out)?

Honda S2000 and T series ecu's

Just having a look at the Swin beta for the T series ecu, noticed the CPS pattern for the S2000's F20C engine seems to have disappeared, K20's are still there for the Civic, but not the F20C.

Any particular reason, coming on a future firmware/software update, hopefully?

Re: Honda B16A ignition coil burned out

You may need to zip the config file, first, many forums will limit what file extensions you can upload. Saving as a zip file, then uploading generally works.

Re: Shift Cut Issues, Help A Numpty !

F4 is the keyboard command that sends what ever change you've made in the software to the ecu itself, until you press F4, the ecu isn't updated.

Re: S Series CAN .DBC files

No problem. Shame though, I liked the idea of popping the maximums up on my dash for T's and P's! (and the rotary pot readouts for the traction control).

I know I'm going to kick myself for asking, but is this enhanced 1000 range data set a T Series thing? (Or going to be).
