data logging issues
Using an s80 ecu and using megalog viewer for analysis and am having issues with the readings. I have set the throttle stops and saved map I am recording Throttle position, rpm, fuel pressure, lambda, air and water temp. The issue I am getting is that I know I have been using more that 40% throttle ...

Re: inovate ls1 and s80 ecu
The Innovate instructions for the LC1 are quite good,, the button and LED are used to set the device up and for calibrating the sensor. DTA doesn't do much in regard Lambda sensor control - just takes signal and processes it. I've got an LC1 fitted and will rely on the included look-up table until ...

Re: inovate ls1 and s80 ecu
RTFM ? Follow the instructions ? lol. Safest way, seeing as they are so prone to ground and offset issues, is test and verify. Program the LC1 to flatline say 1v. See what this reads as on the DTA Program the LC1 to flatline say 2v.....you get the picture. Do this to 5v. ( I'd also start at 0.1 or ...

Re: inovate ls1 and s80 ecu
Thanks Alex
Steve, yes it does have the jack plug on the loom, but I will have to get a serial to jack lead to let it communicate to the laptop

Re: inovate ls1 and s80 ecu
Hi Steve, the trouble with the manual is it talks about LEDs and push buttons which did not come with the unit , so I either have bits missing or as I was hoping the DTA software did a plug and play function. Fuel pressure issue still not sorted though once I have the inovate installed so I can log ...

Re: fuel pressure woes
Some thoughts - feeding a 044 via a -6 supply is not advised as its much to small. Correct size is 12mm ID for decent gravity feed - too small, and pump will cavitate giving erratic fuel pressures. A 044 flows a LOT of fuel and if the majority of it is being returned to the swirl pot with a Facet t...

Thank Steve, I will sort that out today and then see what is logged when I run the pumps/engine in the week and hopefully the issue will occur

Re: fuel pressure woes
Before much else, Id fit a sensor and start logging FP, just to see what it is doing all the time. If you already have a sensor for the stack gauge, assuming it is a 3 wire sensor you could just tag off it. it is not impossible, just some simple tests and logging. Yes it is a 3 wire sensor. Can I s...
