Re: Idle Speed Control Valve
big old Bosch 2wire one? (I forget part number haven't used one in over a decade haha) I'd just use ignition timing, but assume there's a reason you aren't keen. update: found an image with part number https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5a3495c8f6576ee14946506f/1514598127683-3N325J908L2NW...

Re: decipering MAP log
Was there any result to this? LPG needs more timing. It loves it. We use the diaphram mixers in forklifts, and they're basic to tune. Turn the knob until it's happy haha. And add timing over petrol; it's a pain when folks run both, as if you set the timing for LPG it knocks its arse off on petrol. I...

Use the next size up DR25?
https://msel.co.nz/shielded-cable/ is white, and shielded, so probably not what you want - but they do https://msel.co.nz/twisted-pair-can/ which fits in 1/8 DR25 easily.

Re: idle using advance
I've had situations with stepper/iac idle control where they do that if the trigger rpm to start controlling idle is too high (different ECU), and it starts trying to control when decelerating to intersections - So, because you are decelerating the rpm is being held up artificially and so the contro...

Re: S60 on Motostudent bike wins the 2018 world championship
I'm actually looking at other options for the Panigale engine anyway, as it required dual DBW also and space is at a premium.
Interesting that's it's more common than I thought as a trigger sync.

Re: S60 on Motostudent bike wins the 2018 world championship
Some (all?) models of Ducati Panigale use manifold vacuum for phasing apparently: Not sure how practical that is to implement in aftermarket.

Re: cop S80
Shouldn't 1 coil per plug still be on...? Worth trying, as that is what it is set up like even though waste-firing.
edit: oh I see Alex has already commented, don't mind me....

Re: IAC valve or not?
I guess it depends on the engine/atmospheric conditions, I have set one up that sat around 25degrees cold and 5 hot. I did adjust the throttle once it had warmed up to get it around there then rechecked it still worked when cold.

Re: IAC valve or not?
I've successfully used ignition timing idle control, it works amazingly and if you can't be bothered fitting IAC then it's more than acceptable. You have to set the throttle closed position slightly more open than usual so it has enough air to idle when cold, and the ecu trims out timing to bring th...

Re: NT-Dash fuel level settings
To reverse it you could put a pull-down to 0V, and have 5V and Signal to the unit seeing as it appears to be insulated plastic.
It feels hacky to me as I'd prefer it wired how you have it, and then set it up in software - but if it works.... then why not
